1 x unbaked 9″ pie shell filling
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 pch salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
5 x apples peeled & sliced
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter melted you can use more butter if you prefer topping
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. light brown sugar
5 Tbsp. butter


  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    Combine dry ingredients, then stir into apples. Add in lemon juice & melted butter & stir well. Turn apples into unbaked pie shell. Cover w/topping
    Topping: Mix together till crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 min. Then reduce oven heat to 350 degrees & bake for 40-45 min longer or possibly till top is browned.
